Ron Ranes Senior CAD Designer Summary of Qualifications Mr. Ranes has thirteen years of engineering associated experience. This has encompassed a wide variety of activities in the following areas.
His experience has been in water and wastewater treatment facilities, chemical process, computer aided drafting design and instrumentation. Relevant Professional Experience As an Instrumentation Technician, Mr. Ranes has been responsible for the design and fabrication of control panels, programming of controls systems, installation of instrumentation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation. His experience includes the design and fabrication of control panels for the Sewage Treatment Plant in Golden, Colorado, DePue Interim Site Water Treatment Plant, and DePue Site Lift Station in DePue, Illinois; and MMI graphics programming for materials handling system at a mine, troubleshooting and repair of instrumentation at the Rocky Flats Sewage Treatment Plant, and start-up technician for Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project Train I Water Treatment Facility. As a designer, Mr. Ranes has been responsible for the design and production of drawings for several water treatment facilities. He has also been responsible for specification and procurement of equipment systems and has provided start-up assistance and troubleshooting for a variety of water treatment facilities designed and constructed and/or operated by RTG. Design and fabrication of mine tailings leachability columns. Design and installation of wetlands dewatering system for Colorado Department of Highways, Interstate 25 construction. System included an air stripper system and activated carbon adsorption Preparation of process flow, general arrangement, section drawings, and details for Decontamination Laundry Facility at Hanford Site. Final drawing package submitted included 25 drawings. Responsibilities included vendor interface for procurement of equipment details and power requirements. Preparation of process flow, general arrangement, and detailed drawings for a system to treat contaminated groundwater with an air stripper and activated carbon system.
